Thailand wins ASEAN EURAXESS Research Science Slam 2013


Phanramphoei Namprachan Dr. Frantz, a researcher at the virology laboratory and mobile technology, the National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC), won the 2013 ASEAN EURAXESS Science Slam . The competition is a platform for scientists to present their research projects to their peers and to the public.

"The lyrics in rap is easy to understand language, and free of technical jargon, based on items heard familiar with their daily life, to get the audience to understand what I want to explain . Makes a fun-filled fun rap songs make my presentation more interesting, "she said.
The final round of competition was held in Singapore on September 25, in which each finalist presented 10 minutes before a live audience of 150.
"I was very happy eleven is the highest award for my father. I was very nervous and excited before the second announcement was made because Singapore has many supporters who attended the event held in the host country, "she said.
Dr. Frantz has been awarded a trip to Brussels in Belgium, where she will attend the Conference Voices EURAXESS Researchers with the winners of other EURAXESS Science Slam, the rod is held in the U.S., Japan, India, China and Brazil.
